Staff and students who pay frequent official visits to the Academic and Students Affairs office of the University for Development Studies have much to be grateful for. This follows the presentation of a 55-inch smart television set to the Academic and Students Affairs office.

Hitherto, students who visited the office to collect their certificates or wait to be provided with some information had no access to any form of entertainment whilst waiting to be served. The donation was made by The UDS Alumni Association.

President of the Alumni Association, Prof Terry Ansah, who doubles as an Associate Professor at the Department of Animal Science, was on hand to do the formal handover and on behalf of the past students to the Head of Academic and Students Affairs, Alhaji Wahabu Yahaya. Prof. Ansah urged the students to protect and take care of the equipment, as well as to cultivate a spirit of volunteerism so that one day they, too, can pay it forward to the next generation. He said the Alumni Association hopes to continue to provide assistance to the university with the hope of fostering more unique opportunities.

The Head of Academic and Students Affairs, Alhaji Wahabu Yahaya thanked the Alumni Association for the donation and assured them that the Television set would be used to show only educational content.
