“I know starting and growing a business, particularly in Africa is not for the faint-hearted who hitherto fear disruption. But that’s where being trained at UDS comes in handy; a common gift we all got from the school is, we are made of steel. The whole system trains you to be resilient such that when you fall down seven times, you get up eight. You won’t find any alumnus playing a victim even when the odds are against them. To me that’s the greatest training any one could ask for. Because whether you’re a business executive or an employee, you will if truly you want to make a mark find your opportunity always masked in a difficulty. Hence, everyone needs the UDS-brazing courage foundation”

Mr. Hashim Attakurah Suleman

Congratulations Developer Suleman!!!

Please read his profile below.

Though an Agric. Tech. graduate, Hashim has always been fascinated about how buildings work. The myriad moving parts including both hard and soft services working seamlessly to make sure we enjoy a building whether for work, residence or vacation. Following the early days of adaptability trainings from the UDS trimester system characteristically known for maximum workloads and delivering of tasks in record time, together with his younger brothers started Bridgewave Group; one of Africa’s promising and sought-after property maintenance and development firms. Bridgewave specializes in process and system automation for the real estate market—i.e. eliminating random breakdowns which in turn perform maximally and uninterrupted.
Right from here, UDS, he received his first degree, a BSc. in Agriculture Technology, on the Nyankpala campus some 13 years ago. H also holds an MBA with marketing and leadership specialties from KNUST; Executive certificate Diploma in International Business and an advance certificate in Leadership & Marketing both from Accra Business School. In line with his career, Hashim is an EPA-certified pest controller.
Before founding Bridgewave, Hashim co-founded three other start-ups in the real estate and property maintenance industry. He recently co-founded other businesses which are currently operational. One of which manufactures top-of-the-line hygiene and floor-care products called Stamina Industries and the other a real estate development agency called Religo Homes which all are members of the Bridgewave group.
