Dr. Joseph Kwadwo Danquah

Congratulations Developer Danquah!!!

Please read his profile below.

The pre-eminence of every individual is a source of pride to the social setting that raised him. Today, as he reaches for the pinnacle of his career in academics, the life of the celebrated Ghanaian who has been promoted to the rank of Assistant Professor, Joseph Kwadwo Danquah is not just one of pride to his alma mater, the University for Development Studies, Nyankpala Campus, Ghana, but also a great source of inspiration to succeeding generations of students of the University. Professor Joseph Kwadwo Danquah is an esteemed Professor of the University of Bradford, United Kingdom.
He has since the year 2018 lectured both undergraduate and postgraduate students in Human Resource and Strategic Management and Development at the School of Management, Law, and Social Sciences of the University where he earned both his master’s and PhD degrees. Very dramatic about his success story at the University is the fact that in the history of the School of Management, Law, and Social Sciences of the University, Professor Joseph Kwadwo Danquah is the second Lecturer to be of a Ghanaian ancestry. His colleague Ghanaian lecturer left about a year ago, making him the only Ghanaian Professor of his Department at present. The native of Asankrangwa in the Western Region of Ghana had, in advance of his pursuit of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Human Resource Development at the same university he lectures, he successfully completed a 4-year study at the University for Development Studies (UDS), Nyankpala Campus, Ghana, for the award of Bachelor of Science Honours (BSc., Hons) in Agriculture Technology. He acknowledges the impact of the UDS on his academic achievements and accomplishments. Apart from helping to ignite the passion for the attainment of his height in academics, the University also reshaped his political acumen for active politics in his country of origin, Ghana. UDS trimester (the Uniqueness of UDS), exposed him to different aspects of developments in life. At the Nyankpala Campus of the University, he held the position of TESCON Veep for two consecutive terms from 2005 to 2007. By that feat, he found his way earlier in active politics. He is now a senior stalwart member of the Leeds Chapter of the New Patriotic Party, UK Branch.
