As part of activities marking the 30th anniversary celebrations of the University for Development Studies, the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research (IIR)-UDS, is set to launch its short courses on “Ethics in the Professions”. The launch of the short courses will follow what has been dubbed “A National Dialogue on Ethics, Corruption, and Sustainable Development.

The event, which will be chaired by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Gabriel Ayum Teye, will have speakers culled out from different backgrounds of Ghanaian society, including media, law and Civil Society.

The speakers include, Manasseh Azure Awuni, an investigative journalist and the Integrity Personality of the Year, 2021 and Samson L. Anyenini, a Journalist, Host of Joy FM’s & Joy News’ current Affairs programme, News File, Legal Practitioner, and Integrity Personality of the Year Nominee, 2021. The other is Mrs. Mary Awelana Addah, the programme’s Manager of the Ghana Integrity Initiative, GII.

The event, which is open to the public, will come off on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at the Andani Andan Academic Chamber at the Central Administration block on the Tamale Campus.
