The KIC Agritech Challenge Pro is an accelerator program aiming to support young entrepreneurs to launch and grow commercially viable, scalable solutions to key problems in the agricultural sector. The program aims to drive technology and innovation as a catalyst to enhancing productivity, improving yields, and creating more jobs within Ghana’s agricultural sector.

Dirty Gold, KoduTech & Witdeen teams are among the 15 teams that won places in the KIC AgriTech Pro, after making it through the AgriTech Classic Stage.

KoduTech produces safe, cheap & eco-friendly sanitary towels from banana and plantain waste. “Plastic takes about 500 years to decompose, which means the 1st sanitary pad ever made has not yet decomposed” KoduTech wants you to “join us in reducing period poverty for young women”.
