Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the position of:

Principal, Nyankpala Campus

Duties/Responsibilities

  1. Shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for providing leadership to the Campus.
  2. Maintain and promote the efficiency and good order of the Campus in accordance with policies and procedures prescribed by Law and the Statutes or as may be determined by the Council.
  3. Shall present a report on the status of the Campus to the Vice-Chancellor every trimester.
  4. Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Vice-Chancellor from time to time.


The Candidate:

  1. Must be of Professorial status.
  2. Must have held several managerial positions in the University including Dean of Faculty/School, Director, Head of Department etc.
  3. Must have served the University for a minimum of fifteen (15) years.
  4. Must be able to work for a minimum of four (4) years before attaining the statutory retirement age of sixty (60) years.


Mode of Application:

  1. Applicants should write application letters.
  2. In addition, write a brief statement of their vision for the Campus and the strategies for achieving this.
  3. Include a detailed curriculum vitae with names and addresses of three referees who are familiar with the applicant’s academic and administrative competence.
